Class Of Thirteen is a three-piece punk rock band formed in 2008. The
band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Jimmy Fink, bassist and
backing vocalist Dixxie Kadarusman and drummer Chris Moko (Chris
replaced former drummer Jov prior to the release of their first EP
entitled Chronicles EP).
Sharing a mutual interest against the legendary punk rock trio, Green Day, the band indicated to keep the
90s punk scene alive. Heavily motivated and influenced by the punk rock
living legends, ‘Class Of Thirteen’ was taken from Green Day’s 21st
Century Breakdown album as the band’s name.
Class Of Thirteen mostly adopts the
sounds of first wave punk bands such as Ramones, Pinhead Gunpowder,
Misfits, and The Clash, featuring energetic, speedy, and catchy
three-chord pop-punk songs.
The trio’s top mission priority is to
prove that punk is not just fashion, but a way of life and implementing
a Do-It-Yourself manifesto system!
